2024 Canadian Grand Prix is set to take place in a city in Parc Jean-Drapeau, Montréal, Canada on 9 June.
What to know about the Canadian Grand Prix
The Formula One World Championship event has been contested every year since 1967, except for 1975, 1987 and 2009.
The race takes place at a circuit that was initially called Circuit Ille de Notre Dame, but later named Circuit Gilles Villeneuve.

The Monaco Grand Prix which was the eighth round of the 2024 Formula One World Championship was won by Charles Leclerc of Ferrari on 26 May.
Oscar Piastri of McLaren finished second while Ferrari's Carlos Sainz Jr secured a third-place finish in Circuit de Monaco.

Max Verstappen is sitting at the top of the World Drivers' Championship standings as the Red Bull Racing driver looks to regain the Formula One world title.
Leclerc, Lando Norris of McLaren and Sainz Jr are placed second, third, and fourth respectively as the battle for the world title continues.

Verstappen is a clear favourite to win the Canadian Grand Prix, but he will face stiff competition from the likes of Leclerc, Sainz Jr and Norris.
Mercedes' Lewis Hamilton, who has won a joint record seven Canadian Grand Prix titles, will be looking to record his eighth victory.

"The car has felt great this weekend from the get-go and we were competitive through Friday and this morning in practice," Hamilton said after finishing seventh at the 2024 Monaco Grand Prix and he is eighth in the Drivers' Championship standings.
I’ve been pushing the limits everywhere and the qualifying laps felt good. But each time I go into qualifying, I struggle to keep making progress with the car and it feels like I lose performance relative to the cars around me.
"There was a bit of a difference with our cars in the high-speed corners, as George is running the new wing this weekend, but it is great to see the team pushing so hard to bring upgrades to the last race and this one, too," he added.
"We have been much closer to the front here, and the car is feeling much better than it has in Monaco in previous years; we just have to keep on pushing and getting closer to the front through the year.
